The Dynamisc of Forced Labor
Published by ETHR on 22 February 2025, the report “The Dynamics of Forced Labour” examines forced labour from historical, conceptual, and legal perspectives, with a particular focus on China’s systematic forced labour policies in East Turkistan. It analyses labour exploitation linked to internment camps, compulsory labour transfer programmes, and practices in the agricultural and industrial sectors, as well as their impact on global supply chains. The report also calls on Türkiye, international organisations, and the private sector to establish stronger monitoring and enforcement mechanisms against products made with forced labour.
